    1961 Enhanced Vatican 100 Lire Pope John XXIII Coin AN III
    1961 Stainless Steel Coin that has been enhanced. Been painted - possible gold leaf on figures and front and back is covered with acrylic, feels like glass to me but assume it’s acrylic.
    Research online shows these coins are available for sale but can’t find any online with these enhancements so not sure if this was done at the time of issue to create a Collectable item back in 1961 or if it was at a later time.
