Here is a lot of 5 vintage french curves, all in very good condition and all by quality makers.
First is a set of three Koh-I-Noor, Made in Denmark, french curves designated as the "burmester set" number 8252. Shamelessly borrowing from Wikipedia "
    A
    French curve
is a template usually made from metal, wood or plastic composed of many different segments of the Euler spiral (aka the clothoid
    curve
). It is used in manual drafting and in fashion design to draw smooth curves of varying radii.
They were invented by the German mathematician Ludwig
    Burmester
    and are also known as
    Burmester
    (
    curve
    ) set."
The larger curve has some random white spotting (see e.g. 4th picture at left). The plastic case is sound, with no rips.
Then there is a Charvoz, Made in Japan, No. 94-3006 and a Lion, Made in Japan, No. 10. Both of these were loved by SM enough to put his/her initials on them.
