Colored by R. B. DAVIS, animal painter to the King
name: that of R B Davis 1835
note this signature of Davis w/date lower left corner, w/in landscape.
engraving is 11" X 8"
I believe this to be a print, (and it could be)  but after examining closely, the depth of ink or layering and quality is good. The over all print size is different from others I have found for sale..
Additionally, signature of Davis, seems original.. left bottom corner..
over all conditon good, glass original (some bubbling)
FRAME solid wood, appears to be Walnut.  Not a decorative frame.
This item would look especially nice on a shelf, office or study wall.. of course.. a good hunt scene is always
desirable
and the colors here are wonderful.
Some aging, yellowing to paper, this would be normal for it's age.
Item has  been taken apart for
cleaning
and inspection; by seller.. there are no stains or damage... note 2 photos of back side of piece.
