Is a manufacturing opt bubble on the inside of the lid the last four or five pictures show the close-ups from the inside and the outside. Please request more pictures or ask questions prior to bidding or purchase if this concerns you. It is virtually a noticeable and you can always turn the back if it bothers you but it is small and does not detract from the beauty of this large compote.

in this condition, but it's usually because
I think, even with con- siderable damage, someone MAY STILL WANT IT, but the
price will reflect the damage. It's hard for me to throw away a htf or rare item,
damaged or not....

Certain items (games, dvds, electronic items, usually, some common glass items (Pyrex) will have security tape afixxed to it (to prevent switcheroos). Do not remove unless you have tried out the item and intend to keep it. Item can not be returned if tape is tampered with. Once you decide to keep, it can easily be removed with a small amount of soap and water, leaving no damage.
