The four-toed hedgehog is also called the African dwarf hedgehog which points out the fact that it is smaller than its relatives and its habitat extends over vast parts of Africa. Like all hedgehogs, the head and back of the four-toed hedgehog is covered with countless short quills. When in danger, it rolls itself into a spiked ball. African hedgehogs are omnivores but their favorites include insects, snails and worms.

We are glad to combine items to ship together if ordered within a 4 hour period.  Our Free Shipping offer is for the lower 48 states only.  If you are shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, military addresses, or US protectorates, there will be additional shipping charges.
