    Description

    Vintage Drop Forged Iron Horse or Mule Shoe to hang over your door for luck!
    Shoe measures 6" long by 5" wide and weighs 1 Lb. 6 Oz.  It's rust free and has nice aged patina.
    This shoe has 4 1" Caulks in place.  These gave grip when snow or mud was present.
    This would also make a nice small trivet as it stands 1 1/2" off a table.
    For Good Luck, you generally hang the open heel end of a horseshoe over your door facing up.
    Think of the horseshoe shape as a cup - if the heel faces upward, the horseshoe fills with good luck, holding it for everyone who lives in the home.
